The Hardest Games To Beat During a Pandemic
These are some of the hardest games for you to beat
Some of us like easy games, some like the thrill of winning money at places like casinox, but others – other gamers truly want the most difficult challenge that they can get. So if you are someone who wants a challenge and wants to beat one of these legendary games during the lockdown, these are some of the hardest games that have ever been released.
It doesn’t matter which version of the game you pick (1,2,3), but Dark Souls is not only one of the hardest games ever made, it started a trend that continues with games such as Bloodborne and Nioh. While some developers make sure that you are not frustrated while playing their video game, FromSoftware decided to try something a bit – different. This is a game that truly seems to enjoy it when you want to throw your controller against the wall. You simply have to “get good” and know where everything is before you can master this game.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The chances are that you have played a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game before – but nothing is going to save you from this incredibly frustrating NES original. There were situations where you could not get out of without taking damage, jumps that needed you to be absolutely perfect, power-ups in locations that were simply there to tempt you and enemies that were constantly respawning. This game is not fair – but that what gets it on this list.
Mega Man 9
Mega Man titles are notoriously difficult, but when they made Mega Man 9, they decided to make it almost impossible. It is the hardest game in the series by far, and you need to become a true master of the game before you are able to unlock everything it has to offer. And if you want to unlock achievements, you need to do so without using any energy tanks or dying!
Funny that we mentioned Bloodborne earlier – because this game takes everything that Dark Souls is famous for and decides to make it even worse. The game is absolutely ultra-challenging, and the horror-themed game is far more aggressive than even Dark Souls is. This means that you are going to have to attack in many of the encounters that you have as opposed to playing defence as you might in Dark Souls.
A game that is so difficult that it has spawned memes – now that is impressive. The worst part about Battletoads is the fact that the first two levels are OK – challenging but nothing too steep. Unfortunately, they are only trying to lull you into a false sense of security. The speeder section of the game is known to many as one of the most difficult in any game ever and certainly enough to make you rely almost exclusively on luck.
Super Meat Boy
When we are talking about hard games – we mean truly hard. And Super Meat Boy is one of the least forgiving games ever. You make one wrong move, and the game is over. Other 300 levels are all made to make you anxious about what is coming soon. There are countless swords, blades, and spikes that are all aiming to turn our poor protagonist into nothing more than mincemeat.
Ghosts ‘N Goblins
You have enemies that can pop up out of nowhere, and a hero that can die after just two hits – that does not sound like a recipe for success now does it? The game itself is hard enough as it is with our hero constantly trying to beat the demons that are put forth, but the worst thing is when the game is actually over. If you do manage to beat the game, the game is going to reveal that you managed to walk right into the trap and will have to beat the game again – only this time at a much higher difficulty level.
