The Remastered Ghostbusters Game Is Coming to PS4
Almost 10 years ago the original Ghostbusters: The Video Game was released and now, the game is making a comeback. And it is being remastered for PS4 and you be able to play sometime later this year.
Interestingly, all of the original in-game videos were located on a hard drive that belongs to one of the Ghostbusters: The Video Game creators. So, you will have all of the same cutscenes remastered in 4K, with improved textures and lighting. And the voices and likeness of the original cast members are all here too: Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson.
The remastered version sticks to the original storyline, which was written by Aykroyd and Ramis. It picks up where Ghostbusters II left off, and you’ll join the cast members as a new recruit, learning to hunt and squabble ghosts throughout New York City. The original game was released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, but this remaster looks like it is a PS4 exclusive.
