The Three Best Smartphones For Gaming In 2021
It’s fair to say that the vast majority of us these days spend at least a few hours a week on our smartphones enjoying games. The beauty of the app stores is that they have something for everyone, with games to suit all generations of players from first-person shooters, to casino games, bingo, and more.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve all got that little bit more into gaming. In fact, sectors such as bingo have enjoyed huge growth, welcoming an increasing number of players via mobile bingo and apps.
There has been much more of an emphasis on gaming from customers looking to upgrade their smartphone or buy new, but what are the best gaming smartphones available on the market today?
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel
The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel was released in October of last year and has tons of processing power that is capable of hosting any game with absolute ease. It has a Snapdragon 865 Plus CPU, with 12/16 GB of RAM. The screen size is ample and any faults with the device certainly don’t come from the gaming side of things.
It isn’t cheap though and at £799 RRP you need to be seriously invested in your gaming to buy this one. If you’re looking to just enjoy Farmville or have a spin on some online slots, your money is probably best spent on a lower spec device, but if it’s all-action, console standard gameplay you’re looking for, then you’ve found it here.
Black Shark 3
Released around this time last year, the Black Shark 3 comes from Xiaomi and is the brand’s specialist gaming device and you get plenty of bang for your buck, with high specs and a relatively reasonable price.
It’s a big phone with a 6.67-inch screen and operates on Android 10. You’ll find plenty of storage and it can handle even the most strenuous of gaming activity. The refresh rate is perhaps one downside at 90Hz, which is still decent, but lower than some of its main competitors, but overall a wonderful gaming device for 2021. What’s more, the Black Shark 4 is set to land soon, so watch this space…
Asus ROG Phone 3
Another phone that you’re looking at around the £800 mark is the Asus ROG Phone 3, but it’s one that has a superior battery life and one of the finest screen qualities around. The 144Hz AMOLED screen really adds a crispness to your gaming and the Snapdragon 865 Plus CPU keeps everything running smoothly.
The device features a range of different gaming modes and all design elements clearly have gaming in mind. There are few bad points to the device, with perhaps a lack of wireless charging the only element that really marks the Asus smartphone down.
