The Xbox 360 COMMAND & CONQUER Games Are Now Playable On Xbox One

The backwards compatibility program is a hit in my eyes, it enabled me to play so many old classics on my new Xbox One X. First announced back at E3 2015 and launching later the same year the program has added a growing selection of Xbox 360 titles that can be played on the Xbox One. Today that games list grows again with the inclusion of four Xbox 360 releases in the storied Command & Conquer franchise.

  • Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
  • Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath
  • Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
  • Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3: Commander’s Challenge

While many will hesitate at the idea of playing a Real-Time Strategy game on the console the 360 versions of C&C pulled it off pretty well. Well, except Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that game has some of the worst console RTS controls I have ever experienced. Each game also incorporates all the missions found in the PC releases making them ideal for anyone just wanting to feel the out there stories C&C do so well. I for one am pretty excited these games are finally playable on Xbox One as each had good features to them even if they aren’t the biggest entries in the C&C franchise.
