They Wanted to Pay Me to Promote “Piece of Sh*t” Star Wars Battlefront, Singer Says

Breaking Benjamin’s Benjamin Burnley has claimed that he was asked to post about Star Wars Battlefront to his social network channels to promote the game, which he absolutely said NO to. Burnely shared the image below of a broken BattlefrontXbox One disc through his Instagram account this weekend, along with the very pissed caption.

Burnley dressed up as Kylo Ren on Halloween, Which is one of the villains in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Perhaps EA’s marketing team saw this and deemed Burnely to be a fitting candidate to promote the game.

Burnley is not the first celebrity to promote Battlefront. Before him, Sony and EA enlisted Pitch Perfect and Twlight star Anna Kendrick for a live-action Battlefront commercial. She’s been posting about the game on Twitter, where she has close to 5 million followers. GameSpot’s review scored it a 7/10.
