Custom Made Starfield PC

During the recent QuakeCon 2023 event, a thrilling collaboration between Bethesda and AMD was unveiled, bringing forth an extraordinary creation—the Starfield themed Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards. Limited to a mere 500 units, these graphics cards were not intended for commercial sale, but rather for an exclusive giveaway.

One standout application of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU was orchestrated by the ingenious modder, modsbyben, who ingeniously fashioned an exquisite custom-made Starfield PC. In the modder’s own words:

“AMD reached out to me with an incredible opportunity to collaborate on a project with Bethesda. The objective was to craft a unique, one-of-a-kind computer for showcasing at QuakeCon, harmonizing with the thematic essence of Bethesda’s forthcoming video game, Starfield. My aspiration was to seamlessly weave the computer into the fabric of the game’s universe. Drawing inspiration from the game’s feature that lets you design your own spacecraft, I designed this build with that concept in mind.”

In an insightful video, Ben expounded further on his creative genesis for the Starfield PC:

“The impetus behind this project was to construct something that resonated with the essence of Starfield—a game epitomizing the sci-fi genre, set amidst the cosmos, featuring diverse planets and celestial wonders. My ambition was to translate this ethos into a tangible computing machine that could seamlessly integrate within the game’s fictional universe. It’s akin to building my own spacecraft—a true embodiment of the Starfield world, blending my unique style with their creative vision.”

Regrettably, the remarkable custom-made Starfield PC remains an elusive treasure, unattainable for purchase. However, enthusiasts can find solace in the availability of officially licensed accessories, such as the Xbox wireless controller and the Xbox wireless headset.

With the imminent launch of Starfield, set for September 6th (though those with the Premium Edition gain early access on September 1st), the anticipation and fervor among fans have reached unprecedented heights. Despite some apprehension due to the absence of an official gold status announcement from Bethesda, Pete Hines, the Head of Publishing, extended reassurance through a reassuring tweet last Friday. The impending arrival of Starfield has undoubtedly set the stage for an exciting new chapter in the realm of gaming.
