Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen In Split Speculation

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

Undisputed NFL legend Tom Brady retired from the game for a few short weeks at the end of last season but then made an immediate return to action, and in doing so, he has apparently put a big strain on his marriage to his wife, Gisele Bundchen.

By all accounts, this is likely to mean that the current campaign, where he will look to guide the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a second Super Bowl title in three years, will definitely be his last in the NFL.

Many speculated that the reason Brady did an about-turn on his previous retirement decision was that he wanted to go out on a high, and that might make him all the more determined to make this season one that ends in the 45-year-old collecting his eighth Super Bowl ring.

Brady has, of course, had a glittering career in the game, winning big with the New England Patriots before making a move to Tampa two years ago. In the run-up to the current season, the star quarterback took an unprecedented 11-day break during the Buccaneers’ training camp, and that may well have been a sign that not all is well at home.

On the possibility of 2022 being the final NFL season for the QB, who last season posted his best-ever numbers on an individual basis (but couldn’t get Tampa Bay through the playoffs to the Super Bowl), Brady commented cryptically;

“I think we’re all getting one day older at a time,”

“We’re all not sure whether we’re going to be here next year or not; that’s the reality for every player, every coach, every parent. You just never know. We should all take advantage of the opportunity that we have.”

While his comments are, of course, correct, they hardly set the matter straight. Many sources are now stating that Brady’s decision to return to the game has led to the two being ‘in a fight’ ever since.

Brady has already made plans for his post-playing career, signing a massive $375 million deal with Fox to be their NFL analyst.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers started the season with a 19-3 win over the Dallas Cowboys, during which Brady threw his 625th touchdown pass, which Mike Evans acrobatically collected to help the team to victory.

Gisele Bundchen did not attend the game, which led many to speculate that things are problematic at home.

Rumors of these issues led to Brady being questioned on the situation, to which he honestly replied;

“Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives,”

“I’m 45 years old, man.”
