Top 5 Upcoming PS5 Games

By  |

Sony is keeps adding new games to the roster of PS5 games and it is a mix of games a little bit for everyone. Sony’s new Future of Gaming showcase added a lot more new, and exclusive, games to the list, which includes Horizon Forbidden West, Resident Evil 8, a brand new Ratchet and Clank, and even an awesome looking Spider-Man: Miles Morales. I have to say there is not a single game that is based in New York City which I always like to see and play in, I think GTA 3 was the last awesome game based in the Big Apple. Many new games come with mini-games built-in which includes all sorts of activities including betting and poker, Recently opened the casino in GTA 5 which will also port on the next-gen consoles, Comes with horse race betting and a new poker floor to try your luck in, If you want to play poker in New York just like we did in GTA 4 you should follow the link.

If you want to have a go at RPG or get your fill of action in an FPS you will get them at the release of the console, PS5 load times will be cut way because of the built-in integration of a new SSD – updates will go faster with no more long copying.

There are still some months to wait until the PS5 officially launches at the end of the year in its Holiday 2020.

Here is the list of the best 5 games coming out on PS5.

Dirt 5

Dirt 5

Dirt 5’s awesome career mode will let gamers pick from events all over the world and is a mixture of classes: regions from New York City to Greece await as you take on events in rally calls, buggies, trucks, and rock bouncers. You can also play on your own, online, or in up to four-player split-screen.

Gearbox is the first dev to officially announce an upcoming PS5 game, and it will be Godfall. Apparently building on Gearbox’s reputation with Borderlands franchise this is a “loot-slasher’, third-person action RPG created around co-operative gameplay – although you can play single-player game too.  It stars knights and magic, so it seems astounding. Basically think Borderlands but with some killer swords.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Miles Morales is coming onto the PS5 in a new Spider-Man adventure game. While there was firstly some confusion about whether Miles would be featuring in a huge remaster of the 2018 release, Insomniac made it official Miles Morales will be a standalone game. During the PS5 Future of Gaming event, we also saw some footage from the Spider-Man in action in a cinematic trailer, and we want to know more the game and see some gameplay footage.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

A new Assasin’s Creed game is officially coming and it looks all sorts of awesome it is called Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and this time it will take us back to the Dark Ages as Viking Eivor. Creating on the RPG elements introduced by Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assasin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll be given with all sorts of dialogue options, character customization which also includes tattoos and hairstyles, and all types of weapons to try out in the game. Set during the 9th century in Norway and England, you’ll be roaming around most of your time and trying to leap and climb your way across four kingdoms in the UK. It will be released in 2020 and it will be coming on to PS5.

Gran Turismo Sport

Gran Turismo Sport

It’s been a long time since Gran Turismo Sport was released on PS4, and now a new game in the iconic series is coming. but there is a reason why it’s at the top of this list of highly anticipated upcoming PS5 games. The recent Wired article that unveiled the PS5’s official game, explains that the writer got to play a few games on a PS5 devkit console. One of those games included, and I quote, “a version of Gran Turismo Sport that Sony had ported over”. It was there to reveal the new haptic capabilities of the new PS5 controller, moving from driving on the road to the dirt and the track. We expect GT Sport will be racing on to PS5 when the console release.
