Unreal Engine 5 Videos Playing On A Next-Gen Console Looks Stunning
Unreal Engine 5 video is simply surreal and if you have time to check out the full video above or the shortened video below, you should really watch the whole video to see how the team at Epic Games is producing Unreal Engine 5 to life with some extraordinary new technologies.
The engine is going to help artists and game developers reach a new awesome level of game creation and visual brilliance with detail and environmental interaction like we’ve never seen before in gaming.
Unreal Engine 5 uses film-quality assets in video games, and it really shows that in the video, the future of gaming will be awesome.
Brian Karis, Technical Director of Graphics, and Jerome Platteaux, Special Projects Art Director, discuss “Lumen in the Land of Nanite”—a demonstration of two core technologies that work in Unreal Engine 5.
First is Lumen, defined as “a fully dynamic global illumination solution that immediately reacts to scene and light changes.”
Then Nanite, which is “virtualized micro polygon geometry.”
These are the two main players in the UE5. But there are also other features like Niagara VFX improvements, Chaos physics and destruction, and a lot more.
These new technologies and the enhanced assets in the engine may not sound like anything special if you are not in the gaming industry. But these are some extraordinary advancements. If you don’t believe me, just watch the video above.
It’s… really unreal and can’t wait for the game using the Unreal 5 engine.
