UPlay Problems Keeping PC Owners From Playing Watch Dogs
For all intents and purposes, the launch of Watch Dogs on Tuesday was the biggest multiplatform release of 2014. But, like many a multiplatform release, it wasn’t without its hiccups.
Shortly after launch, some gamers reported problems with the PC version of Watch Dogs, specifically with regards to the uPlay client. Some were unable to log-in to the game, others saw the game crash at the drop of the hat, and a few were even unable to create a uPlay account altogether.
It’s important to note that these problems are not on the level of, say, Battlefield 4 or Diablo 3, but any launch-day problems, especially for a massive game like this, are disappointing. The good news is Ubisoft appears to be working on fixes, and many are already saying things have improved.

While it appears the worst of problems are behind Ubisoft, there are still reports of PC problems for Watch Dogs players. Ubisoft assures those affected that they are looking into any and all solutions, and will make any important announcements on the official Watch Dogs Twitter account. In fact, they believe most of the major PC problems should be rectified by later Wednesday night.
