WILD HEARTS Narrative Gameplay Trailer Gives A Deeper Look Into The Game

Koei Tecmo and EA are back with a new video that celebrates the start of a series for their upcoming AAA hunting game, Wild Hearts. This new gameplay video ‘Monogatari Episode 1’ whereas ‘Monogatari’ is a Japanese word that can be summarized to mean ‘Narrative.’ In this first episode, they shed light on the game’s unique Karakuri system, which is a sophisticated mechanism drafted from a lost, old technology.

The video revealed how Karakuri give players a creative, dynamic edge during battle– as they discover new forms and combinations, players can better prepare their hunting grounds and make advantageous conditions for their fight against giant Kemono beasts. With the persistent nature of Karakuri, players who fall in combat or receive aid from allies can resume using their past hunting experience to set new traps and ways to travel with tremendous efficiency and strategy. Crafting shifts the way players think about their hunt – they’ll need to know how to adapt to new complexness as they unlock different Karakuri locks and team up with allies to make even stronger Karakuri systems.

Wild Hearts will be available on February 17, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA App.
