Working Tron Light Cycle Replica Up For Auction

A guide price for the awesome Tron Light Cycle has been set between $25,000 and $40,000 without a reserve and is currently being auctioned over on the RM Sotheby’s website via the link below.

The replica Tron Light Cycle is powered by a 96-volt direct-drive electric motor that is powered by lithium batteries and is equipped with a computer-controlled throttle, hydraulic brakes as well as compression and rebound damping with spring preloaded front suspension and rigid rear suspension.

“We want to get down to a smaller number of cars – perhaps 15 to 20 – that we very much enjoy driving and that we can use on events with the family,” Chris Andrews explains “There are a number of events we’d still like to try overseas and here in the United States, and in order to do that, we need to focus on a more manageable collection.”
