The world’s largest cruise ship, christened Harmony of the Seas, set sail from STX shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France on its maiden voyage.
The ship arrived in the Southampton, England on Tuesday. The mammoth structure comprises of sixteen decks. 362-meters in length, the Royal Caribbean ship has befittingly been nicknamed a floating city.
The ship is run by a crew of 2300 people and also flaunts the world’s tallest water slide built on a ship.
Another important futuristic feature of this luxury liner is the Bionic Bar service where the robotic bartenders offer cocktails to the voyagers at the bar.
It took three years to build Harmony of the Seas, and it was added to the fleet of the Royal Caribbean Cruises as the 25th ship in its International fleet.
The vessel will set sail from England on Sunday for a four-day voyage to the Netherlands.
