No official word is still here about what is the asking price for Scorpio will be but a price point of $499, as initially estimated by Digital Foundry, would be an ideal bargain seeing as to how current speculation from industry analysts is that based on the pricing of the components that sit at the heart of this console, it will have to cost as much as $700 if Microsoft wants to make any profit on it at all. Similarly, no official release date has been given but the updated website now confirms that it will be released at the end of this year and as expected during the holiday season.
